WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children. It is a grant-funded program that serves low-income:

  • Pregnant Women

  • New Mothers

  • Infants

  • Children Under the Age of Five

 

WIC Provides... Nutritious Food
 
 

Nutritious food is provided to WIC clients at no cost including:

  • Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

  • Eggs, Milk, and Cheese

  • Cereal

  • Whole Grains

  • Peanut Butter

  • Beans

 

WIC Provides... Breastfeeding Support
 
 

Breastfeeding isn't always easy, but WIC is here to help by providing:

  • Classes

  • Peer Counseling

  • Breast Pumps

  • Special Food Options

 

WIC Provides... Nutrition Education
 
 

Nutrition education is a key part of helping families. The relationships between nutrition, physical activity, and health are important. This is where we come in!

  • Nutrition Counseling

 

WIC Provides...Care Beyond WIC
 

WIC offers additional services to support the whole person including:

  • Immunization Services

  • Substance Abuse Counseling

  • Domestic Abuse Counseling

  • Social Services
